Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore Council is committed to upholding the policy of Girl Scouts of the USA that all troops have trained leaders to ensure high-quality programming and safety. Because resources and opportunities change as girls progress to new program levels, training for leaders occurs at those times as well. The busy lives of our volunteers are recognized and respected and thus time and resources required for training is kept to a minimum.
Education and Training is not only a necessary step in your volunteer experience, it is a great way to meet others, gather new ideas and learn more about the Girl Scout process and what we have to offer. There are many opportunities throughout the year for adults to be educated or to brush up on various skills such as First Aid/CPR or Outdoor Training.
Please see our Education Calendar for specific adult education information or to register online.
