August - Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors

From the backyard to the backcountry, Girl Scouts has a long and storied history of getting every girl outdoors. Technology and structured activities leave less time for girls to get outside and enjoy nature. But as a Girl Scout, she’ll have plenty of opportunities to create her own outdoor adventures and develop a lifelong appreciation for nature and the out-of-doors—whether with her troop, at camp, or with friends and family.

Patch activities include painting, hiking, watersports and so much more!  Sign up today to Try Out the Girl Scouts and earn your patch.

September - Girl Scouts Love State Parks

Every year, Girl Scouts explore the natural wonders found across our country through Girl Scouts Love State Parks! Girls can explore state and national parks online or inperson all month, but on September 12 and 13, Girl Scouts across the country celebrated our shared love for the outdoors by visiting a state park near them with friends, family and their troop.

Patch activities include tips on how to enjoy the our State Parks safely and fun activities to do on the trails. Sign up today to Try Out the Girl Scouts and earn your patch!

October - Girl Scout Tree Promsie

With the Elliott Wildlife Values Project and American Forests we are launching a bold tree planting and conservation initiative. Girl Scouts is setting out to plant five million trees across the country in five years, and to protect and honor new and existing trees. Not only is this great for wildlife, it will also help ease the effects of climate change.

Patch activities include learning how to be a Citizen Scientist to contribute to the scientific community and honoring trees.  Sign up today to Try Out the Girl Scouts and earn your patch!
