  • Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey - Explore how scientists solve problems as you create a field guide about your environment. Then, find out how you can help real scientists with their research! 
  • Outdoor Art Apprentice -Record how things change outdoors. Head outside and find a scene—it might be a lake, a tree, the ocean, a trail, or a plant in your backyard. You can even find a family photo or look online. Write about it or sketch it in color. Record everything you observe. 
  • Eco Trekker -Put together a short documentary of your trek and the environmental issue you explored. Share it with your troop, school, family, and friends. Get a discussion going after your presentation to talk about possible solutions.
  • Comic Artis - Get the hang of comic stories by drawing one of these on a sticky note (rough, rough sketching, remember!)
  • Screen Writers - Think about the movies or television shows you love most. Then examine them for clues as to what makes them work.
  • Science of Happiness - Learn about then experiment with different techniques to increase your happiness.
  • Financing My Dreams - Girls will discover some of their dream jobs by exploring their interests, talents, skills, and hobbies as they look to their bright futures. 
  • Entrepreneur - Girls will begin to learn to think like an entrepreneur.

Healthy Living

Delta Dental - Through this GSMISTS Partner Program, you can use your creativity and scouting skills to learn how your mouth links to your overall health and well-being. Review good dental habits, try an oral health experiment, discover how hidden sugars can damage your teeth, and learn about the importance of brushing twice a day and reading every day for a healthy body and mind. Master the topics to earn your patch and join Delta Dental’s Smile Squad! As girls complete the requirements to earn the Smile Squad patch, they will also be able to work on earning Girl Scout badges, including My Best Self, Snacks, Eating for You and Staying Fit.
