o   Virtual Safety Basics: In this 10-minute module you will learn ways to help keep you and your girls safe during a virtual troop meeting. 

o   Facilitating Virtual Meetings: In this 15-minute module you will learn some tips and tricks to facilitating virtual meetings with your girls.

o   Getting Started in Zoom: In this 12-minute module you will learn how to schedule and set up Virtual Troop Meetings in Zoom. Both paid and free accounts are reviewed. Free account information begins at 8:20.

o   Virtual Meeting Playbook: Developed by Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, the Virtual Meeting Playbook is a comprehensive guide to help you facilitate engaging and fun troop meetings online.

o   GSUSA Facilitating Great Virtual Meetings: In this course, you’ll learn about how to create and facilitate an engaging virtual troop meeting. You will: explore the main reasons for hosting virtual troop meetings; learn how to transfer current troop meeting practices to a virtual space; discover techniques and tips to create engaging virtual experiences; and learn how to keep virtual meetings safe. This course will take approximately 24 minutes to complete.

o   GSUSA Zoom Meetings for Troop Leaders: Collection of Zoom produced instructional videos.

​gsLearn is accessed by logging into MY GS. After logging in to MY GS, you’ll see three options: Volunteer Toolkit, Member Profile, and gsLearn. Click on the third green box to enter gsLearn. Your gsLearn Dashboard contains trainings that are available to you.

Delta Dental - Through this GSMISTS Partner Program, you can use your creativity and scouting skills to learn how your mouth links to your overall health and well-being. Review good dental habits, try an oral health experiment, discover how hidden sugars can damage your teeth, and learn about the importance of brushing twice a day and reading every day for a healthy body and mind. Master the topics to earn your patch and join Delta Dental’s Smile Squad! As girls complete the requirements to earn the Smile Squad patch, they will also be able to work on earning Girl Scout badges, including My Best Self, Snacks, Eating for You and Staying Fit.

Learning Bird Calls - Learn how to make different kinds of bird calls with Kalamazoo-based Air Zoo

Petoskey State Park – Lead Ranger Louise Hunt - Louis introduces facts and information all about Petoskey State Park. Hear about day-to-day operations of the park and learn about how Louise became Lead Ranger.

Maybury State Park – Park Supervisor Traci Sincock - Learn about the recreational and farm opportunities Maybury State Park features. Hear how Traci’s career evolved into her role as Park Supervisor.

Waterloo Recreation Area – Interpreter Katie McGlashen - Hear from Katie as she explains her role as a Park Interpreter. From guided hikes to outdoor skills, Katie teaches visitors of all ages when they visit Waterloo Recreation Area. Learn about her career journey to become a park interpreter.
