Join Challenge Island for badge earning workshops! Please click the links below to register for the session of your choice:

 

Daisies can earn the Toy Business Designer Badge (1:00-3:00PM session)

Daisies will be designing a game for kids to play with while waiting to be seated at the Brownies' Pizzeria restaurant. We all dislike waiting for a table...let's make it a fun game! Incorporating and melding the Pizzeria theme with another theme they create. Each team will have a game to play with when finished!

 

Brownies can earn the Budding Entrepreneur Badge (1:00-3:00PM session)

In this program Brownies will use the Engineering Design Process to complete the badge requirements by coming up with a new themed pizzeria restaurant business with a storefront sign, logo, and unique products & services, menu, design prototypes, & test those prototypes. As Engineers do, girls will share their ideas to get feedback and make improvements on their
business and products. Then girls will pitch their business to the group. ....And the crowd goes
wild! 

 

Juniors can earn the Business Jumpstart Badge (4:00-6:00PM session)
In this workshop, we will learn about the about the engineering behind roller coasters and elements to coasters that set them apart from each other. Girls will be pitching a whole theme park idea to the "city board" to make better use of a vacant parking lot. They will design and create their main attraction - a roller coaster. And as engineers do, girls will share their ideas to get feedback and make improvements to their main attraction. Then the girls will pitch their business to the group. 

 

Event Supervision
This is not a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio. See Safety Activity Checkpoints for more information. Girl Scouts attending individually must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
The adult(s) that are accompanying Girl Scout(s) at this event are required to register for event.

Any earned badges not provided and must be purchased separately.

Girl Scouts are encouraged to wear their vest or sashes.
