What is the Fall Treats & Reads Program, you ask?
The Treats & Reads Program happens each fall and offers Girl Scouts a fun, easy way to launch their entrepreneurship journey while raising funds for the exciting adventures ahead.
Girl Scouts share delicious chocolates, specialty nuts, bark boxes, magazines subscriptions, personalizations, and more with family and friends, with orders placed either in person or online through each girl’s personalized storefront. Best of all, items arrive just in time for Thanksgiving, making them perfect holiday gifts!
Benefits of Girl Scout Troop Participation
Girls will develop five leadership skills:
- Goal Setting
- Decision Making
- Money Management
- People Skills
- Business Ethics.
100% of funds generated from this program go toward helping Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore build important life skills and opportunities to engage in activities throughout the year.
Participating in the Fall Treats & Reads program will go towards your score card and allows your troop to host additional fundraising events, provided your troop participates in Cookie Season as well.
