Event Description:
Girl Scouts and families join Outdoor Discovery Center Staff to
meet hawks, owls, falcons and more as you discover what roles they
play in the local ecosystem. See up close what these amazing animals
are all about!
Families are invited to bring lunch to
enjoy after the program, enjoy a summer day in the outdoors.
There will be about 1 mile of walking during this event.
Badges: Girl Scouts, this program
offers opportunities for you to complete steps towards your badges!
Daisies: Completes step 1 towards your Animal Observer Badge
Juniors: Complete steps 1 and 2 towards your Animal Habitat Badge
Participant Information
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio. See Safety Activity Checkpoints for more information. Girl Scouts attending individually must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Event registration is not complete or guaranteed until Cookie Dough or Individual Girl Funds are

Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued.
Troops are encouraged to register for this event together through the Troop Leader's MYGS account.
Girl Scouts not registering as a troop or who are attending individually should register for this event through their parent/guardian's MYGS account.
