Event Description:
This event is for those in 3rd - 8th grade as of Fall 2025.
Join the Michigan State Police for a special Girl Scout Preparedness Day! Earn a patch, create a safety kit, and learn how to stay safe in emergencies.
Learn from the Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division with presentations, games, crafts, and more.
Event Supervision:
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio. See Safety Activity Checkpoints for more information. Girl Scouts attending individually must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Event registration is not complete or guaranteed until Cookie Dough or Individual Girl Funds are

Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued.
Troops are encouraged to register for this event together through the Troop Leader's MYGS account.
Girl Scouts not registering as a troop or who are attending individually should register for this event through their parent/guardian's MYGS account.
