Event Description:

Join partners of Lakeshore Museum Center for a guided tour through the historic Hackley and Hume Mansions. Built in the 1890's, travel back in time as you explore these three- story homes with plenty of history, elegance, and unique architecture. This program includes a self-led tour at the Fire Barn Museum and a hands- on experience at the Scolnik House, a modest home as replicated during the 1930's or depression era. Girl Scouts can try on period clothing, help do laundry, and explore the garden.

This program includes a unique fun patch.
Juniors: Complete steps towards earning Playing the Past Badge.

Adults Registering please note:
Participants will be split into groups of 10 during the Hackley and Hume Tour. Please plan accordingly for girl: adult ratios.

The Guided tour is approximately 1 hour.
The self-guided tour is approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Accessibility note: 6 flights of stairs.

 

Event Supervision:

This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio. See Safety Activity Checkpoints for more information. Girl Scouts attending individually must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Registration, Cancellation, Refund, Transfer Info

Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.

Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.

If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued.

Troops are encouraged to register for this event together through the Troop Leader's MYGS account.

Girl Scouts not registering as a troop or who are attending individually should register for this event through their parent/guardian's MYGS account.
