Event Description:
This is a hands-on course designed to teach leaders how to guide their girls through the skills necessary for successful early outdoor camping adventures. The class includes practice in basic knots, knife skills, fire building, and outdoor cooking on a camp stove as well as an open fire.

Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued.
Troops are encouraged to register for this event together through the Troop Leader's MYGS account.
Girl Scouts not registering as a troop or who are attending individually should register for this event through their parent/guardian's MYGS account.
