Event Description:
Giraffes strut.
Birds swoop. Gazelles leap. The entire Serengeti comes to life as
never before. And as the music soars, Pride Rock slowly emerges from
the mist. Girl Scout members, family, and friends can receive special
rate tickets for the April 25th, 2026, 2:00pm performance.
More than 100 million people around the world have
experienced the awe-inspiring visual artistry, the unforgettable
music, and the uniquely theatrical storytelling of this Broadway
spectacular - one of the most breathtaking and beloved productions
ever to grace the stage. Winner of six Tony Awards, including Best
Musical, The Lion King brings together one of the most imaginative
creative teams on Broadway. Tony Award-winning director Julie Taymor
brings to life a story filled with hope and adventure set against an
amazing backdrop of stunning visuals. The Lion King also features the
extraordinary work of Tony Award-winning choreographer Garth Fagan and
some of Broadway's most recognizable music, crafted by Tony
Award-winning artists Elton John and Tim Rice. There is simply nothing
else like The Lion King.
Event Supervision:
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult
ratio. See Safety Activity Checkpoints for more information. Girl
Scouts attending individually must be accompanied by a
parent/guardian.

This event is recommended for ages 6 and older.

Registration, Cancellation, Refund,
Transfer Info
Event registrations are non-refundable. In
the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be
swapped for another attendee.
Events are first come first
serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills.
GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
If this
event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued.
Troops are encouraged to register for this event together
through the Troop Leader's MYGS account.
Girl Scouts not
registering as a troop or who are attending individually should
register for this event through their parent/guardian's MYGS
account.
