Event Description:
This is an on-your-own patch program for Girl Scout to learn about Michigan trees and earn the 2026 GSUSA Tree Promise Patch.
Using GSMISTS' unique Michigan's Tree activity Packet, Girl Scouts will discover their local ecosystem while learning why it's important to protect trees.
The activity packet will include activities but not limited to about the following topics:
- Native Michigan Trees
- Invasive species
- Deciduous and Evergreen Trees
- Ways to Promote Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship
Patch orders will be distributed after the program (November 1, 2026).
Participants will be notified once patches are available for pick-up or have been mailed.

Activity packet available online - complete at your own pace during the month of October!
Price: $2.00 for patches. Pick-up available at the Service Center of your choice during registration.

Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
