Event Description
During Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15), we recognize the valuable contributions that Hispanic people and Latinos have made and continue to make in the United States. We honor the cultural richness of all people in the U.S. whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Join us for this fun, 90-minute event where Girl Scout participants will learn how to make corn tortillas with authentic tortilla presses, decorate maracas, color flags from some Spanish Speaking countries, and earn their Hispanic Heritage Month fun patch - included in the cost of the program!
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio
Please do not register more adults than necessary.
Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.

GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
This event's registration fee is non-refundable.
This event's registration fee may be transferred to another eligible GSMISTS event dependent on availability and registration deadline. Contact customercare@gsmists.org for more information.
In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may also be swapped to another attendee.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
