Event Description
Get ready for a bubbly, colorful journey into the world of
chemistry! In this program, young Girl Scout scientists will discover
the exciting differences between acids and bases through hands-on
experiments and playful activities.
Girl Scouts will
explore how some everyday items-like lemon juice and baking soda-can
fizz, change colors, and even create surprising reactions! Along the
way, they'll learn how to safely test substances, understand what
makes something an acid or a base, and see how chemistry is part of
their everyday lives.
With lots of experimenting,
observing, and asking "why?", this program encourages
curiosity, creativity, and a love of science. Perfect for Girl Scouts
who enjoy getting a little messy while making amazing discoveries!
