Event Description:
Does your troop want to travel the USA or world together and you
don't know where to start? This is the training for you! This training
prepares Girl Scout volunteers on how to guide their troop through the
planning for extended travel.
This training includes
information on:
* How to determine the readiness of a group and
themselves for extended travel activities.
* How to get your
Girl Scouts involved in planning extended travel.
* How to
outline the planning steps and develop a timeline for extended travel
activities.
* Resources for information on extended travel
planning.
* GSMISTS requirements for extended travel.
Participant Information
This event takes place online. Please make sure to take the Girl Scout Internet Safety Pledge before you start. High-speed internet is required. You will receive more information about accessing event in the confirmation.
This event/training will be held online. You can join from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. High-speed internet is required. Meeting access and more information about will be sent in confirmation emails.

Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued.
Troops are encouraged to register for this event together through the Troop Leader's MYGS account.
Girl Scouts not registering as a troop or who are attending individually should register for this event through their parent/guardian's MYGS account.
