Event Description
Although Girl Scouts may not be of legal voting age for the November election, it is important to learn about democracy and the principles our country was founded on! In this hands-on workshop, Girl Scouts will get the chance to participate in a mock election, learn about the branches of government, and make their voices heard. See democracy in action!
All Girl Scouts will complete steps of the Democracy badge for their level.
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio
Please do not register more adults than necessary.
Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.

Badge/Patch: All levels complete steps of the GSUSA Democracy badges - to be purchased separately after event.

Please note that this event is subject to cancellation if the minimum registration requirement of 10 Girl Scouts is not met.
This event's registration fee is non-refundable.
This event's registration fee may be transferred to another eligible GSMISTS event dependent on availability and registration deadline. Contact customercare@gsmists.org for more information.
In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may also be swapped to another attendee.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
