Event Description:
International Day of the Girl was first established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012 and serves as a global moment to celebrate girls' voices, actions, and leadership.
Part discussion, part activity, and all about girls!
During this 90-minute program, participants will explore issues impacting girls around the world and in the United States, including education, body image, and self-esteem. Through hands-on activities, movement, and discussion, girls will discover how they can use their voices, support one another, and help create positive change.
Event Supervision:
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio. See Safety Activity Checkpoints for more information. Girl Scouts attending individually must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Badge/Patch:
International Day of the Girl patch earned and included with registration.
