Event Description:
Girl Scouts, family, and friends are invited to enjoy a day at John Ball Zoo with special rate tickets!
This event is entirely self-paced and can be enjoyed at your troop or family's convenience.
Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors who register by March 31st will receive activity booklets to work on the following badges during their zoo visit:
- Daisy Animal Observers badge
- Brownie Shapes in Nature badge
- Junior Animal Habitats badge

Pricing: $11 GSMISTS Girl Scouts
$15 non-member youth or out-of-council Girl Scouts
$14 GSMISTS member adults
$18 non-member adults or out-of-council member adults
After April 1st GSMISTS Girl Scout and adult member pricing increases to $15/girl and $18/adult.
Event patches given to member adults with registrations received by March 31st. Member adults may receive patches while supplies last if registering April 1st or later.
How to Register:
Troop Leaders/ Assistant Troop Leaders: if you are registering and paying for non-Girl Scout members, you will need to complete 2 transactions.
On your MYGS account follow the steps below to complete both transactions:
- Order 1: select "My Troop Members" to register
both Girl Scouts and adult members.
- Complete registration for both girl and adult members.
- Order 2: select "My Household" to
enable the non-member field options.
- Complete registration for both siblings and adults. Use "Girl Spaces" for registering siblings to receive the youth rate pricing.
Parent: When registering your Girl Scout, siblings, or other non-member youth, please use "Girl Spaces".
Members of John Ball Zoo or those who otherwise receive free zoo admission are asked to RSVP your attendance by registering here. RSVP by March 31st to guarantee your event patch and/or order Girl Scout badges.
Additional information:
Girl Scouts encouraged to wear Girl Scout uniforms and adults encouraged to wear Girl Scout Apparel. More than 400 Girl Scouts filled the Zoo at last year's event - let's make a splash again this year!
The GSMISTS pop-up shop will be on site for your Girl Scout
shopping needs. Charm-its, apparel, and other products will be
available.
Troop Leaders and parents may place orders for
specific merchandise ahead of time. Pre-orders must be
received by Wednesday, April 29th. Orders after this date
may not arrive in time for pick-up at this event.

Participant Information
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio. See Safety Activity Checkpoints for more information. Girl Scouts attending individually must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Registration, Cancellation, Refund, Transfer Info
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
