Event Description
Get ready to take on the snow! Join the team at Forbush Corner
Nordic for an exciting cross-country skiing experience. With trained
instructors assisting, every Girl Scout will have the chance to
practice this popular Michigan sport.
Whether it's your
first time on skis, or you're a seasoned pro, all Girl Scouts can have
snow much fun!
To commemorate the experience, all Girl
Scouts will receive a fun patch at the end of their session.
This event will be divided into two, 1 hour-long sessions based on
Girl Scout level:
* 10:00-11:00 AM and
12:00-1:00 PM for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and
Cadettes
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio
Please do not register more adults than necessary.
Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.

Badge/Patch: Fun Patch (provided)
Daisies and Brownies will complete steps toward the Snow Adventure Badge
The Snow Adventure badges can be purchased separately through our Girl Scout Shop.
Food: Hot Chocolate will be provided
Supplies: Girl Scouts will need to bring winter hats, waterproof gloves/mittens, and a winter coat. We highly recommend a layered approach (shirt, sweater/fleece, and a windbreaker/shell). Windproof or dedicated snow pants are ideal for keeping Girl Scouts warm and allowing for more fun in the snow!
Registration, Cancellation, Refund, Transfer Info
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
