Event Description
Girl Scouts and their gals (mom, grandma, aunt, female mentor) are invited to join GSMISTS staff to explore camp under the stars. This is not a troop exclusive event.
This overnight camp focuses on all things nocturnal! Girls and adults will venture outdoors to discover camp at night. Learn about animal adaptations that help creatures see in the dark, and try out your own night time science experiments.
What to expect:
Girls and adults will check-in on Friday evening, followed by pizza dinner, introductions, and night activities.
Saturday, will include a continental breakfast followed by check-out.
Cadettes will earn and receive the Night Owl Badge.
Juniors, Seniors and Ambassadors will receive a fun patch.
3rd Graders bridging to Juniors by October 1, 2026 are eligible to attend this event.
Members must have their annual membership renewed for the 2027 Girl Scout year to register.
Requirements for adults attending overnight events:
All adults must have a valid background check and be registered members of Girl Scouts
Cabin assignments will be arranged by GSMISTS. Cabin assignments will be shared after registration.
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.
If you are registering as a troop, you will need to meet the girl/adult ratio minimum requirement.

Price increases to $35 for both girls and adults after August 30th

Please note that this event is subject to cancellation if the minimum registration requirement is not met.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
