Event Description
See the breathtaking beauty of winter on the water! In this seasonal
activity, you'll float on a raft as the team at Sturgeon River
Paddlesports guide you through a winter wonderland. As you enjoy the
scenic views, don't forget to keep an eye out for native
wildlife!
This event is only offered to Cadettes,
Seniors, and Ambassadors due to Program Partner capacity.
This event will be divided into three approximately 1.5 hour-long
sessions:
The first session will depart at 9:30 AM.
The
second session will depart at 12:00 PM.
The third session will
depart at 2:30 PM.
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio
Please do not register more adults than necessary.
Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.

Supplies: All participants should dress warmly: winter jackets, gloves, a hat, snowpants, boots with warm socks. Hand and foot warmers are recommended. Feel free to bring a little something in the thermos to warm you up along the way, hot chocolate, coffee, etc. Bring a camera or smartphone to photograph the sights!
Registration, Cancellation, Refund, Transfer Info
Please note that this event is subject to cancellation if the minimum registration requirement is not met.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
