Event Description:
In this workshop for 9th and 10th grade Girl Scouts and their parents, girls will learn how their Girl Scout experience can make them stronger candidates for college and inform their college search. We'll discuss what colleges are looking for and how to develop your qualifications, as well as how to identify schools that will be a great fit. Participants will also receive a timeline for preparation and applications, including standardized testing and financial aid. By the end of the event Girl Scouts will be well-prepared to complete Steps 1, 2 and 3 toward the College Knowledge badge.
