Event Description
Take a trip to Mackinac Island and support our Girl Scouts in Honor
Troop 147! Join us for a ferry ride over to Mackinac Island where we
will get to spend a day enjoying the sights and watching our Honor
Troop 147 serve this historical island. Witness Troop 147 march down
the picturesque island hill in formation for the first flag ceremony
of the day. Then, attend tours of Fort Mackinac and the scout barracks
where we will be welcomed by Honor Troop 147. Members of the troop
will talk with us about their experience and answer questions to
inspire our Girl Scouts. From there, families will be free to explore
Mackinac Island and visit the historic sites and museums.
Mackinac Island Scout Service Program (MISSP) - Girl Scout Honor Troop
147 is a group of 7th through 12th grade girls selected for their
commitment to service and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience by
taking on tasks including flag ceremonies, guide duties, and service projects.
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio
Please do not register more adults than necessary.
Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.

Supplies: Wear your Girl Scout Gear and walking shoes. Bring water bottle, sack lunch, snacks, windbreaker, poncho, umbrella, and back pack for carrying your own supplies and gear.
Registration, Cancellation, Refund, Transfer Info
Please note that this event is subject to cancellation if the minimum registration requirement is not met.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
