Event Description
Join our partners at Traverse City Horse Shows and explore
Flintfields Horse Park! Girl Scouts will discover the world of horse
shows through a guided tour and an educational session. Then, Girl
Scouts will build their own hobby horse out of pool noodles and use
them to gallop through horse obstacle courses of their creation.
The fun doesn't stop there! Stick around to attend one of
Traverse City Horse Shows' international-level show-jumping
competitions: The Grand Prix.
Horsing Around- Traverse City will conclude at 2pm. The Grand
Prix will begin at 3pm for Girl Scouts who wish to attend.
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio
Please do not register more adults than necessary.
Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.

Supplies: Participants should wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.

Please note that this event is subject to cancellation if the minimum registration requirement is not met.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
