Event Description
Step into a colorful world of creativity as girls transform
unfinished wooden Russian nesting dolls into one-of-a-kind works of
art. Inspired by the traditional Matryoshka dolls of Russia,
participants will design a full family of nested characters using bold
colors, whimsical patterns, favorite themes, or imaginative
storytelling.
This relaxed and DreamLab session invites
girls to experiment, personalize, and create without pressure-because
every layer reveals something new. Whether elegant, funny, magical,
modern, or wildly unexpected, each nesting doll set becomes a keepsake
treasure.
Girls Will:
* Learn the fascinating
cultural history behind Russian Matryoshka nesting dolls

Explore visual storytelling through repeated design elements
*
Practice planning artwork across multiple connected surfaces
*
Experiment with color layering, pattern repetition, and fine detail
work
* Leave with a one-of-a-kind handcrafted keepsake set
This program will offer girls a chance to slow down,
personalize, and simply enjoy making something beautiful!
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio
Please do not register more adults than necessary.
Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.

If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
