Event Description
Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors: get ready for an unforgettable outdoor adventure designed especially for you and your favorite gal (mom, aunt, grandma, or special mentor)!

This fall weekend camp is a chance to connect,
explore nature, and create lifelong memories together. Pack your sense
of adventure and join us for a weekend of camp adventures!
Take the planning out of the equation and simply enjoy
facilitated fun, including:
* Outdoor Rock Climbing - Challenge
yourselves on our climbing wall with the support of trained
instructors. Whether it's your first climb or you're reaching new
heights, the sense of accomplishment once you reach the top is
unforgettable.
* Archery - Learn proper technique and test your
aim with guidance from trained instructors.
* Meet the Resident
Reptiles & Raptors - Get up close with fascinating animals and
learn about wildlife conservation and animal adaptations.
Saturday night brings the entire group together for a special night
hike! Explore the woods after dark while discovering the science of
nocturnal animals, stars, and nighttime ecosystems. End the evening
with songs, stories, laughter, and classic campfire fun.
Note: This is NOT a drop off event. Girl Scouts must attend with a
registered, background checked, female adult member of Girl Scouts.
Due to lodging availability we are unable to accommodate male
volunteers.
Unable to come as a pair? Come as a troop!
Troops must participate in proper ratio according to Safety Activity
Checkpoints.
Dates & Arrival
Campers arrive
Thursday evening to settle in, meet fellow adventurers, and kick off a
fun-filled weekend. The program continues through the weekend with
exciting activities scheduled each day.
Accommodations
Participants will stay in comfortable all-season
dormitory-style lodge featuring bunk beds, indoor plumbing, and hot
showers. The cozy lodge allows campers to enjoy the rustic outdoor
environment while still having the comforts needed for a relaxing and
safe stay. Bedding not provided - please plan to bring your own!
Meals
All Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast are
included, cooked by camp staff in the fully equipped camp cafeteria.
Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when
registering.
Cost:
$200 per person.

for a memorable camp experience. Your registration includes:

About the Venue:
The Battle Creek
Outdoor Education Center (a.k.a Clear Lake Camp) is the
longest-running educational camp in the country. Founded in 1933, this
175 acre camp gives students a unique opportunity to learn outside the
traditional classroom through hands-on experiences in nature. It's a
great place because it combines learning with adventure-helping
students develop confidence, independence, and a deeper appreciation
for the environment while creating memorable experiences with their
peers that go beyond what they can learn indoors.
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio.
Please do not register more adults than necessary.
Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.

High Risk Activity Waivers for Clear Lake Camp will be sent to participants to fill out after registration closes. Only the parent/guardian of the Girl Scout may complete these forms.

Please note that this event is subject to cancellation if the minimum registration requirement is not met.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
