Event Description
Become a Dune Explorer!
Join Dune Harbor Park staff for a fun
trail adventure through the Great Lake dunes!
* Learn how
to get ready for a hike and stay safe on the trail
* Use a real
compass to find your way. Are you going North, South, East, or
West?
* Discover the unique plants and animals that live in the
dunes
Test your skills and enjoy the outdoors at the beautiful
Dune Harbor Park of Muskegon County!
This program
includes Girl Scouts to complete steps towards their Trail Adventure badge.
Girl Scout registration includes badge, snacks and compass.
Tagalong registration includes snack and
compass.
Event Supervision
This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio
Please do not register more adults than necessary.
Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.
Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning parent/guardian.

Badge: Badges are included with registration, please select the badge of your choice at registration. Badges will be shipped after the event.

Food: Granola Bars, Oranges, Gatorade
Supplies: Here's what to bring: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toed shoes, small day bag. More information to prepare for your hike will be provided after registration ends.
Registration, Cancellation, Refund, Transfer Info
Please note that this event is subject to cancellation if the minimum registration requirement is not met.
If this event is cancelled by GSMISTS a 100% refund will be issued
Event registrations are non-refundable. In the event a girl/adult can no longer attend the program, spaces may be swapped to another attendee.
Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills. GSMISTS is unable to maintain waiting lists.
