Event Description

Service Unit 823 is hosting is a vibrant and enriching outdoor experience that brings together Girl Scouts of all ages for a day filled with adventure, learning, and friendship. This event will offer girls the opportunity to explore the outdoors while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.

 

It's more than just a day outdoors-it's an opportunity for personal growth, discovery, and empowerment. By the end of the day, girls leave with new skills, lasting memories, and a deeper appreciation for nature and teamwork.


Tentative Schedule of the day:
9-9:30a             Registration
9:30a-9:50a     Opening Ceremony
10a-12             Badge Workshop #1
12-12:45p        Lunch - Bring your Own
1:00-3:00p       Badge Workshop #2
3:00-3:55p       Water Games
4:00-4:15p       Closing ceremony
4:15p               Handout Badges/Check Out

 

Overnight camping available to eligible troops.
If troops would like to camp Saturday evening after the event, the troop leader must fill out GSMISTS's Activity/Trip Application. Click here for the form. Troops must be in ratio for extent of camping.
* Troops will be camping on own. No food, supplies, or other camping equipment provided by the Service Unit event team. Campground is primitive camping - only vault toilets are provided. Adult(s) camping must be members of Girl Scouts, have a valid background check on file, and be trained in Troop Camp Skills trained and First Aid/CPR/AED. 

Overnight campers must leave by 10:00am Sunday morning. 

 

Event Supervision

This is NOT a drop off event. Troops must come in proper girl to adult ratio

Please do not register more adults than necessary.

Registrations exceeding the adult-to-Girl Scout ratio may be subject to cancellation based on venue capacity restrictions.

Individually Registered Girl Scouts must attend with a chaperoning  parent/guardian.

Daisies:  Design in Nature and Eco Learner

Brownies: Shapes in Nature and Eco Friend

Juniors:  Numbers in Nature and Archery fun patch

Cadettes: Archery and First Aid

 

Food: None provided

 

Supplies: Bring a day pack with your lunch, snacks, water bottle, towel and sunscreen/bug spray

Events are first come first serve and are open until the registration deadline or the event fills.
